The Buddha taught that when the five spiritual faculties—energy, concentration, wisdom, mindfulness, and confidence—are in balance, they create a harmony as exquisite as music. As well as serving as a guide for spiritual growth they reflect the essence of the awakened human spirit.

Each faculty illuminates our strengths as well as the areas where we may need balance. Are you led by your heart but yearn for greater clarity? Do you approach life through thought but crave deeper emotional connection? Perhaps you cherish meditation but struggle to put your insights into action? Or are you active and effective but sometimes lose sight of the deeper meaning behind your efforts?

This course invites you to explore these five qualities as a framework for a dynamic spiritual life. Together, we'll discover how, when cultivated and integrated, they can infuse our practice with vitality and depth—transforming it into both the journey and the destination

Each week, through presentations and group discussions, we’ll focus on one of the spiritual faculties,
offering tools and insights to apply in your everyday life.
This course is suitable for anyone who has learnt our meditations - the mettabhavana and mindfulness of breathing.

There is no charge for the course, though donations will be welcome
